The talented Gospel singer, Dunsin Oyekan, also known as ‘The Eagle’, is a musician making waves in the world of inspirational Christian music. He is a man who loves God and claims to receive his lyrics and songs from the place of a personal walk with God.
Dunsin Oyekan’s Parental Family and Educational Background
Dunsin Oyekan, aged 36, was born in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria to the family of Gbadebo Oyekan. He happens to be the only son of his family. Dunsin attended Airforce Nursery and Primary school Ilorin, after which he proceeded to the Federal Government College Ilorin for his secondary education and later left there to continue his studies at the Baptist Model High School, Ilorin. The talented musician proceeded to the University of Ilorin for his university education where he studied Industrial Chemistry.
Dunsin Oyekan’s Family Life
Dunsin got married to his heartthrob Adedoyin and their union is blessed with two wonderful children. Sadly, however, Dunsin’s marital union with his wife was shortened by the death of his wife.
Dunsin Oyekan’s Musical Career
This prophetic singer and multi-talented instrumentalist got his music interest and ‘call’ from his late father who also happens to be a lover of music and a leader of a music group. Dunsin’s father, he recalls, encouraged him to learn a musical instrument and at the age of 10, he had started playing the guitar. Initially, his mother did not like the idea of his pursuing a musical career which his father loved and wanted, later she discovered Dunsin had a call on his life into the music ministry.

During an interview with This Day in October of 2019, Dunsin Oyekan was asked what his desire is. Here was his answer: “My desire is to see another moment of AZUZA revival in this end time as Jesus is lifted up.”
