Breaking: Donald Trump Presidency in turmoil

There’s no doubt about the fact that many things are ‘ganging’ up to frustrate US incumbent President Donald Trump from winning for a second term in office this November. Quickly, I’ll just give you three straight reasons Trump may lose his second term bid if he is not careful.

Number one on the list is the way he’s handled antiracism protests in recent times. You may want to recall that an African American, George Floyd, who was killed recently by a white police officer in Minneapolis caused a lot of public stir and unrest. Many citizens, I’m sure, expected Donald Trump to speak against injustice and racial discrimination. Although protesters also did their worst, as there was a lot of looting and destruction alongside the protest, the American president was only heard speaking tough against the protest and public outrage, and issuing threats. On the other hand, Joe Biden, whom Donald Trump often refers to as ‘Sleepy Joe’ did not only speak against it but also was seen to have visited the bereaved wife of the late George Floyd.

A second reason Trump needs to be very careful is that a fresh allegation is being brought forward by one of Donald Trump’s nieces, Mary Trump. According to a BBC report, the 55 years old Mary Trump will on July 28th release Too Much And Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man. Reportedly, “the book will hit the shelves just weeks before the Republican National Convention when her uncle will accept the party’s nomination for his re-election bid in November.” Also, Mary Trump’s tell-all memoir will reportedly reveal how she supplied the New York Times with confidential documents to print a sprawling investigation into Mr. Trump’s personal finances. This isn’t definitely going to be an easy time for the aspiring Donald Trump. I really feel for him because he has been too much under leadership pressure following the recent COVID-19 pandemic. The novel virus was one that hit his country badly. The US alone recorded over a hundred thousand coronavirus deaths.

The report further says:

The Pulitzer Prize-winning exclusive alleged the president had been involved in ‘fraudulent’ tax schemes and received more than $400m (£316m) in today’s money from his father’s real estate empire.

“An Amazon blurb for the book says the author will set out how her uncle ‘became the man who now threatens the world’s health, economic security, and social fabric’.

“She explains how specific events and general family patterns created the damaged man who currently occupies the Oval Office, including the strange and harmful relationship between Fred Trump and his two oldest sons, Fred Jr and Donald.

“The blurb says the author will draw on her insights as a ‘firsthand witness to countless holiday meals and family interactions’.

“The memoir will also accuse the president of having ‘dismissed and derided’ his father once he began to suffer from Alzheimer’s.”

According to The Independent, the third and perhaps the strongest reason may be as a result of claims by Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, John Bolton, that Donald Trump “pleaded with Chinese President Xi Jinping to help him win re-election in 2020 by purchasing more US farming products”. The claims John Bolton has will be, reportedly, released in a book titled The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir next week. The next few weeks are definitely going to be tough for the US President.
